Short Bio

Shehnaz Idu is currently a final-year B.A.LL.B student at Butwal City Campus, LBU, she is deeply committed to legal literacy, digital rights, and gender justice. She is Butwal Chapter Leader for Ladies of Liberty Alliance. As an aspiring lawyer, through her social media platforms, "legalinfo_shehnaz"and "Shinewith Shehnaz", she actively raises awareness by sharing valuable information on Nepalese law, rights, gender issues, and motivational content. Shehnaz Idu is a USYC 2024 Cohort Member. Shehnaz is a member of the USYC CEP project GenVotes and is a general member of Youth in Federal Discourse (YFD). Previously, she has worked with "Loom Nepal" on projects related to sexuality, gender and law, she has also led impactful campaigns and trained teams for intra-moot court competitions at City Campus, Butwal, and guided students from Mid-Western University for BRU 2024. Additionally, she is an alumna of the Language of Liberty Institute (LLI) Camp 2024.
