Short Bio

I am an aspiring law student currently pursuing my undergraduate studies at Nepal Law Campus and a member of Youth in Federal Discourse. With a passion for experiential learning and community service, I have a strong interest in International Law and Corporate Law. Engaging with digital platforms for growth and opportunities, I have become increasingly aware of the rising threats in the digital sphere, particularly with AI and deepfake technology. This motivated me to apply to the Digital Rights School, where I aim to deepen my understanding of digital rights, privacy protection, fact-checking methods, and the mechanisms available for addressing digital rights violations. Through this experience, I want to gain valuable insights into the impact of technology on human rights, both online and offline, and learn about the role of multinational corporations in shaping these rights.

I believe knowledge from Digital Rights School will help in my Millennium Fellowship project, ‘Cyber Chautari,’ under which we aim to help students understand the digital world and the potential threats it carries. I am grateful to Digital Rights Nepal, NUSAN, and the U.S. Embassy Cultural Department for this opportunity and look forward to sharing the knowledge I will acquire.
