Ankit, an incoming economics student at King's College and aspiring change-maker, is passionate about addressing societal issues and driving positive change. With a strong public speaking, debate, and social activism background, he has actively participated in emergency relief efforts, supported educational programs, and led events to raise awareness about critical global issues like climate change and inequalities. Internationally recognized as an Asian regional speaker at the International Youth Conference 2021 for addressing 'Climate Change,' Ankit has represented Nepal as a judge at the World Schools Debating Championship and consistently ranked among the top six speakers at Nepal's largest debating championships. Ankit's experience spans several roles, including logistics and event management for Debate Network Nepal, optimizing business productivity for a digital company, and mentoring students in academics and debating. His work with the United Asian Debate Union Council has equipped him with a multifaceted perspective on solving complex problems. Additionally, Ankit is enthusiastic about learning digital literacy from the Digital Rights School, which he believes will further enhance his ability to navigate and address contemporary issues in the digital age.
